Pre-departure Jitters

So, it is Christmas Eve's eve, or as I have recently been told, it's Adam's day. (Because he came before Eve...ha ha) Anyway, lately I have actually been allowing myself to get excited about travelling to Italy. I am now looking into places to go and things I need to see, choosing classes, and deciding what I need to do before I go. Along with that, however, I am starting to realize all of the scary parts of going abroad as well as the exciting things. I am going to be in a foreign country, alone for five months. I am going to go through culture shock and spend a semester adjusting, again. I don't know. Hopefully the excitement will overshadow the jitters but we will see. Oh, and I still need to get my visa... awkward. Oh well.
